Terry Fox Run
Next week, we will be holding our annual Terry Fox Run. A few important notes:
- We will kick off the week with an assembly, where we will introduce our theme for the year: Double Double! Terry Fox hoped to raise $1 from every Canadian, so we will be challenging our Cougars to double that and raise $2 per student. As a bonus, if our students raise $700 (roughly double our student population), we will double their recess one day the following week. Let's go, Cougars!

Tax receipts are issued by the Terry Fox Foundation for online donations.
We are also still looking for parent volunteers to support our annual Terry Fox Run. The event will take place on Friday, September 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. If you are available to help marshal along the course, please email jamie_locke@sd33.bc.ca. We need approximately 15 adults to help make this event a success.
Open House
We are looking forward to meeting our families at the Open House on Sept. 24 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teacher.
Classrooms will be open from 5:00-5:30, then we will all head outside for ice cream sandwiches!

- 8:20am - Warning Bell
- 8:24am - Classes in session
- 10:14-10:29am - Recess
- 12:04-12:44pm - Lunch
- 2:24pm - Dismissal
Just a friendly reminder that morning supervision begins at 8:05 a.m. We ask that students not arrive before this time unless they are accompanied by an adult. After school, we encourage students to head home promptly. Beginning at 2:35 p.m., staff will check for any students still waiting for pickup, and those who remain will be brought to the office.
